Hiire is helping Piggy, a Dutch company, hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team and help them improve their product and infrastructure. 

Who are we?

Piggy is one of the fastest-growing SaaS scale-ups in the Netherlands and is a European market leader for marketing, engagement, and loyalty software. We are looking for software developers and engineers who want to help us take our product suite to the next level.

Your team:

Our product team consists of a tightly knit group of around fifteen highly motivated and talented developers and UX designers. Most days, we work from our office in Maarssen, as we like to work together – and this enables us to have drinks after work (not limited to Fridays) – though remote working is an option as well. We work in two-week sprints in an adapted, less intensive form of scrum, which works well for us.

Your mission:

As a DevOps engineer, your main goal is the stability and scalability of our product. As our product is being used by many large corporations, uptime, stability, and speed are of the essence. And as our clients are growing both in numbers and in size, this challenge is becoming more and more crucial by the day. If you have automated your dreams with a CI/CD pipeline, you might be the right fit for us!

Who you are:

• A WO/university thinking level, with strong analytical skills

• At least four years of working experience as a DevOps engineer

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Google Cloud Platform, Git, PHP, Nginx

• A creative problem solver who likes to dig in whenever an issue arises does not give up, leaves no stone unturned, and gets motivated by building great solutions

• A flexible team player, who likes to help their colleagues and enjoys great teamwork

• You have experience as a developer and want to also work on development tasks (these may include both FE and BE tasks)

• An excellent command of English and Dutch is highly valued, both written and spoken
