As a Javascript Fullstack Developer, you will be key in designing and implementing cloud-native applications. You will leverage your expertise in JavaScript, AWS services (including S3, RDS, and Lambda), and API development to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
The ideal candidate is someone who can technically and strategically contribute, with a keen understanding of best practices in cloud architecture and development.
This is a product-related role, as most of the scope of work will be related to product development within the railway sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS services;
Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code;
Collaborate with x-functional teams to define, design, and implement APIs, ensuring the optimal performance and scalability;
Design, test, and debug RESTful APIs using Postman;
Optimize cloud application ns for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability;
Ensure cloud security best practices are implemented across applications;
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and development planning;
Mentor junior developers and guide them through cloud best practices.
Your Qualifications – Must Have
At least 3 years of experience with Cloud - ideally with AWS;
Proficiency in JavaScript;
Experience with Node.js and React (ideal Frontend framework);
Hands-on experience with AWS services - S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway;
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs;
Experience with Postman for API testing and integration;
Experience with CI/CD pipelines with versioning, such as Git or GitLab;
Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices;
Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for debugging and optimizing cloud applications;
Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
Your Qualifications – Nice to Have
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes;
Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform would be highly valuable;
Knowledge of serverless architecture patterns;
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, as well as data migration;
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello;
AWS certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer) is a plus.
