As a Junior Data Scientist, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of data analytics and machine learning models that provide actionable insights to railway operators worldwide.

You will:

• Develop and test machine learning models to analyze asset performance, usage patterns, and maintenance needs.
• Work closely with Data Engineers and DevOps to integrate models into scalable, cloud-based applications (AWS).
• Perform data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation on large datasets using SQL and Python-based tools.
• Collaborate in the creation of new analytics features for existing products and support the development of new MVPs.
• Break down complex problems into clear tasks (Epics → User Stories) for product development cycles.

Your Qualifications:

• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Solid foundation in machine learning, including model selection, tuning, and validation.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PL/SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially AWS.
• Basic knowledge of Python, data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn), and version control (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment.
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
