Role Overview
As a Sourcing Buyer, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, developing and maintaining a robust supplier network, and leading strategic sourcing initiatives. You will negotiate framework agreements, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive cost optimization while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure the timely supply of materials and equipment required to support business operations and strategic projects.
What You’ll Do
Lead sourcing and procurement activities across multiple categories, managing supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and performance;
Negotiate pricing agreements, delivery terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and framework contracts to ensure competitive and sustainable supply solutions;
Develop and implement sourcing strategies focused on cost optimization, supply continuity, quality improvement, and risk mitigation;
Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities and anticipate potential supply chain risks;
Manage procurement processes within SAP while ensuring compliance with internal policies and procurement standards;
Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, Product Management, Project Management, and Finance teams to ensure materials and equipment are delivered according to business requirements and timelines.
What You’ll Bring
5–10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment;
Proven track record in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and commercial negotiations;
Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and category management principles;
Experience applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodologies and analyzing supplier cost structures;
Solid knowledge of Incoterms and international trade practices;
Strong understanding of supply chain risk management and contingency planning;
Experience working in cross-functional environments and managing multiple stakeholder relationships;
Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP, particularly MM and SD modules;
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and macros;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities;
Fluent English (mandatory).
Nice-to-Haves
Experience developing commodity and category management strategies;
Knowledge of Lean, Agile, or continuous improvement methodologies;
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and reporting tools;
Additional language skills beyond English.
