Hiire is helping an international tech company to hire a Tech Lead for their office in Lisbon.  

We are seeking a talented Tech Lead to join their dynamic product team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and track record, leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary tech team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver scalable and innovative solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for their adoption where appropriate.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure effective communication within the team.
• Participating in the hiring process and make decisions for their team: from profile definition, tech and non-tech interviews to final decisions. 
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team and across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience/background in software development. 
• 1+ years of experience in a lead/mentor role, with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.
• Motivation to grow in a leadership/business role. 
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD practices is a plus.
