The Opportunity
As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Engineer, you'll play a key role in monitoring, investigating and responding to security events across a global infrastructure. Working alongside experienced Security Engineers, you'll help strengthen detection capabilities, improve incident response processes and contribute to maintaining a secure environment for business-critical financial platforms.

What You'll Be Doing
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), including triaging, investigating and resolving security incidents.
Collaborate with Security Engineering teams to improve monitoring, detection and response capabilities.
Develop a strong understanding of the organisation's infrastructure, applications and security controls.
Ensure security incidents are properly documented, communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers supporting the SOC.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of security operations through process optimisation and automation.
What We're Looking For
MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
3â5 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
At least 2 years of experience in a Security Engineering role.
Hands-on experience with security monitoring technologies, including EDR solutions.
Experience with Zscaler (ZPA, ZIA and/or ZDX).
Experience supporting Palo Alto Firewalls.
Strong understanding of EDR and WAF technologies.
Good knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure.
Basic Python or scripting experience for automation.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
Nice to Have
Experience working in a global or multi-region environment.
Familiarity with SIEM platforms and log management solutions.
Exposure to Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management.
Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, GCIA or similar.
